HopeMakers Network has announced new commitments to strengthen women led MSMEs across Nigeria through mentorship, capacity building and targeted financial support. Speaking at the organisation’s brunch in Abuja, Convener Chidimma Makuachukwu said the network is building a nationwide community that helps women overcome long standing barriers to business growth through collaboration and shared knowledge.
She noted that the initiative now operates across all states and the FCT, providing young women with platforms for professional development and enterprise support. From 2026 the network will scale its activities with an annual summit international exposure programmes and expanded opportunities for members.

Co founder of NextGen Nexus Igwe Ogbonna said the group partnered with HopeMakers Network to support promising women entrepreneurs. Five women running small businesses were selected for seed funding of ₦250,000 each after a review of proposals. He said the collaboration aims to close opportunity gaps that limit the growth of women led enterprises.
Organisers said the brunch marks the rise of a movement focused on producing confident women leaders increasing access to finance and helping more women driven MSMEs grow across the country.
