In a pioneering effort, Deputy Senate President Dr. Barau I. Jibrin has inaugurated 107 new buses for the Kano North Transport Service. This initiative aims to address transportation challenges across the 15 local government areas within the Kano North Senatorial District.
Senator Barau’s significant contribution involves the procurement of these buses, which are being made available to beneficiaries at a highly subsidized rate through a hire-purchase scheme. The project is expected to benefit members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) across all local government areas in Kano North directly.
