The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has announced uniform sale prices for housing units under its Renewed Hope Estate Programme across the country.

In a statement issued in Abuja by the Ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Badamasi Haiba, the move is aimed at promoting affordability, transparency, and fairness in housing delivery.

According to the approved rates, a one-bedroom semi-detached bungalow will sell for ₦8.5 million, a two-bedroom unit for ₦11.5 million, and a three-bedroom bungalow for ₦12.5 million.

Haiba explained that the adoption of uniform pricing ensures equal access for Nigerians across regions to benefit from the Renewed Hope Housing Programme.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa, stated that priority in allocation will be given to low- and middle-income earners, civil servants, private sector employees with verifiable income, and Nigerians in the diaspora seeking homeownership in the country.

The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Shuaib Belgore, added that multiple payment options — including outright purchase, mortgage, rent-to-own, and instalment plans — have been provided to enhance affordability.

He also disclosed that sales of the completed housing units across northern and southern regions would commence soon. Applications can be submitted via the official portal: www.renewedhopehomes.fmhud.gov.ng or through the Ministry’s offices nationwide.

Haiba clarified that the uniform prices apply strictly to Renewed Hope Housing Estates funded through the Ministry’s budgetary allocation, and not to Renewed Hope Cities in Karsana (Abuja), Janguza (Kano), and Ibeju-Lekki (Lagos), which are being developed under public-private partnerships (PPP).
