The newly unveiled Mine-Tech UniPod at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) represents a groundbreaking step toward modernizing Nigeria’s solid minerals ecosystem through innovation, applied research, and youth talent development.
Developed in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the UniPod serves as a hub for technology-driven mining solutions, fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and government.

During a visit to the facility, UNDP Assistant Secretary-General and Crisis Bureau Director, @shokonoda, alongside the UNDP Resident Representative, commended the initiative for promoting sustainable resource management and creating pathways for local innovation.
The Mine-Tech UniPod is set to empower researchers, entrepreneurs, and MSMEs in the extractive sector, driving value addition, digital transformation, and inclusive growth in Nigeria’s mining industry.
