The Federal Government has met with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the Office of the Senior Assistant to the President on Community Development (OSAP-CD) to advance the Prosperous Future Initiative (PFI) — a programme designed to empower young Nigerians and strengthen agricultural productivity.

The initiative focuses on fostering public-private partnerships (PPPs) in agriculture, implementing result-based financing, empowering women and vulnerable groups, and driving human capital development through targeted training.
Aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the PFI aims to scale agriculture as a tool for job creation, food security, and sustainable wealth for Nigerian SMEs and farming communities.
