The Lagos Agripreneurship Programme Cohort 25 is underway at the Agricultural Training Institute in Araga, marking another bold step in the state’s mission to build a new generation of agribusiness leaders.
Youth support and inclusion remain central to the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture, which continues to position agriculture as a viable pathway for jobs, innovation, and SME growth.

This cohort is powered by a refreshed strategy aimed at moving trainees beyond classroom learning into real, market-facing opportunities.
At the end of the one-month on-site training and three-month internship, every participant will receive support to launch a joint enterprise, creating a strong pipeline of new agripreneurs and strengthening Lagos’ agri-SME ecosystem.
