In a significant stride towards fostering economic growth, the Zamfara State government has reiterated its commitment to supporting and promoting entrepreneurs while ensuring an enabling environment for their endeavors.
Governor Dauda Lawal conveyed this assurance during the formal launch of the Entrepreneurs First exhibition in Zamfara State. The event, hosted at the Command Guest House in Gusau, witnessed the Governor expressing appreciation to SUNARS Global Concept, the organizers of the Zamfara Entrepreneurship Summit 2024.
Represented by the Commissioner of Commerce and Tourism, Hon Abdulrahman Muhammad Tumbido, Governor Dauda Lawal underscored the pivotal role entrepreneurship plays in driving sustainable development and job creation.
He emphasized the need for collective efforts from individuals, organizations, and the government to create an environment conducive to the growth and success of entrepreneurs.
“Zamfara State is blessed with abundant natural resources, a vibrant culture, and a resilient and entrepreneurial population. Our government recognizes the potential within our people and is dedicated to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive,” stated the Governor.

The Zamfara Entrepreneurship Summit 2024, organized by SUNARS Global Concept, aims to expose entrepreneurs in Zamfara and other states to opportunities that can boost their businesses. The Chief Executive Officer of SUNARS Global Concept,
Hauwa Barau, highlighted the significance of the summit in providing participants with meaningful discussions, shared experiences, and innovative ideas to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.
Barau further revealed that her organization, in collaboration with the Zamfara government, has already trained over 5,000 young entrepreneurs on skills acquisition in the state.
During the summit, Dr. Al Ameen Lawal Tsafe from the Federal University Gusau delivered a lecture on innovations. He encouraged young entrepreneurs to work diligently and bring more innovation, emphasizing the synergy between money and talents in achieving success.
As Zamfara opens its doors to collaborative efforts, discussions, and investments, the summit envisions empowering entrepreneurs to elevate their ventures to new heights.
