Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has initiated a strategic partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to enhance the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.
This collaboration was announced in a statement signed by Moshood Lawal, SMEDAN’s Head of Corporate Affairs, on Thursday.
During his visit to SMEDAN’s headquarters, Governor Lawal expressed his intent to strengthen economic activities in Zamfara by creating funding opportunities for women and youth entrepreneurs.
Governor Lawal noted that Gusau, the state capital, once thrived as a major commercial hub in Northern Nigeria, home to industries in agriculture and manufacturing.
