Yobe State is taking bold steps to modernise livestock production, with plans to make the state a centre for milk and beef processing. According to officials, a farmer field school has been established to breed animals through artificial insemination, paving the way for large-scale production.
In tackling long-standing challenges, laboratories in Damaturu, Potiskum, Nguru, Geidam, and other zonal offices have been renovated, equipped, and fitted with modern cooling systems for vaccine storage.
