The Concerned Sisters Forum (CSF) has been launched in Abuja to strengthen collaboration, empowerment and peer-support networks for women across Nigeria, many of whom operate or depend on small businesses for their livelihoods.
Former Katsina State First Lady, Hadiza Masari, who praised the initiative during the inauguration and induction of members, said the platform is designed to unite women and help them tackle shared social and economic challenges.
Masari noted that the wide representation of members—from Sokoto, Kebbi, Kano, Katsina, Nasarawa, Niger, Kaduna and other states—shows that the forum has the capacity to make real impact at the grassroots.

She added that the CSF, guided by its motto “bonding for progress”, can become a strong support system for women in communities where many face barriers that limit their economic participation.
Masari expressed optimism that the forum will help women provide assistance to one another, especially those dealing with hardship or trying to sustain small enterprises in challenging environments.
