Voice of Nigeria (VON) Director-General, Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace, reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to partnering with the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to unlock opportunities within the sector. During a courtesy visit to SMEDAN’s Director-General, Mr. Charles Odii, in Abuja, Ndace emphasized the alignment of VON’s goals with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in fostering opportunities for Nigerians, especially in Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs).
Ndace underscored the pivotal role SMEs play in any economy, expressing VON’s readiness to collaborate with SMEDAN in amplifying their efforts on a global scale. He highlighted VON’s unique position as the sole broadcast station in Africa operating in eight languages, noting its commitment to showcasing SMEDAN’s initiatives through various programs focusing on SMEs and poverty alleviation.
