Superscript says the funding will be used to grow its underwriting and broking capabilities, enhance its embedded insurance partnerships, and expand its reach to global SME markets.
Cameron Shearer, CEO and co-founder, called the investment a “huge vote of confidence” in the startup’s mission to make insurance more flexible, affordable, and tailored for small businesses navigating uncertain times.
Founded to modernise SME insurance, Superscript has now seen a fivefold increase in active customers since its last major funding round in 2020.
