Nigeria received 50,000 metric tons of U.S. wheat valued at $15 million at Apapa Port, Lagos. The shipment, purchased by Flour Mills of Nigeria, will support local food processors, bakeries, and other small and medium enterprises that rely on high-quality wheat for production.
U.S. Consul General Rick Swart and Agricultural Counselor Chris Bielecki visited the port to witness the delivery, highlighting the role of agricultural trade in creating jobs, supporting local businesses, and ensuring consistent supply of essential ingredients.
