The ongoing MSME National Conference at the State House, Abuja, saw a high level of engagement from top government officials on Thursday, October 3rd. Exhibitors displayed a variety of locally made products, attracting the attention of dignitaries present at the event.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), and the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, conducted a thorough inspection of the exhibition stands. During the tour, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen actively interacted with exhibitors, commending their creativity and resilience. He offered words of encouragement, stressing the importance of their role in driving economic development and self-sufficiency.

In a further show of support, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen not only acknowledged the exhibitors’ efforts but also purchased some of their items, highlighting the need to patronize local entrepreneurs. Dr. Uzoka-Anite echoed this sentiment by interacting with exhibitors and making purchases as well, emphasizing the significance of supporting indigenous businesses to strengthen Nigeria’s economy.
