The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has educated poultry farmers in Ogun State about adopting health-conscious practices in line with global standards, ensuring that only wholesome animal products are consumed by Nigerians.
This initiative, held during the 2023 Nigerian Poultry Show and Exhibition, attracted the participation of numerous poultry entrepreneurs, veterinarians, and professionals in various animal-related fields.

Rametu Omamegbe Momodu, the Director of Veterinary Medicine and Allied Products, stressed the importance of raising awareness among farmers to prioritize human health in the care of their birds.
Recognizing the profound impact of our food choices on overall well-being, Momodu highlighted the necessity of providing proper care, quality nutrition, vaccination, and other due diligence as paramount for poultry keepers.
