The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) is championing a robust campaign against fake products, urging Nigerian producers and suppliers to prioritize product certification for market success and public safety.
During a recent lecture titled “Growing Businesses Through Standardisation,” resource expert Mr. Lawal Ayanda emphasized the critical importance of embracing made-in-Nigeria goods, particularly cables and wires.
“Nigerian cables are flame retardant; they are resistant to fire. All Nigerian cables have SON logos,” Mr. Ayanda highlighted, underscoring their superior quality.

Mrs. Maryrose Ugwueche, SON’s State Coordinator in Ebonyi, expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their collaborative efforts in the state.
