The Sokoto State Government has earmarked N4.79 billion worth of fertilizer for distribution to farmers, including women and youth. This initiative is designed to enhance regional food security.
Governor Ahmed Aliyu launched the program in Dange Shuni Local Government Area, detailing that the fertilizer is sourced from contributions by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Fadama NG-CARES Program, and the Sokoto State Government.
