The SMEDAN Act of 2003 created the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to support the growth of the MSME sector of the Nigerian economy. The agency bills itself as an all-in-one resource for the development of MSME. Since they serve as the foundation for SME’s, microenterprises are included in the Agency’s clients.
