The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) have joined forces to expand advertising opportunities for small businesses across Nigeria.
The Director-General of SMEDAN, Charles Odii, recently met with ARCON’s Registrar and CEO, Dr. Olalekan Olumuyiwa Fadolapo, to outline initiatives that make advertising more accessible and affordable for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Through discounted vetting rates on advertisements, ARCON and SMEDAN aim to support small business owners in enhancing their visibility, helping them effectively reach their target audiences.
This collaboration is a core part of SMEDAN’s GROW Nigerian strategy, focused on empowering MSMEs and driving economic prosperity.

This partnership not only reinforces SMEDAN’s dedication to the growth of MSMEs but also strengthens ARCON’s goal to foster ethical and professional standards in Nigeria’s advertising sector.
The collaboration is expected to be a valuable asset for local businesses seeking greater marketplace visibility without the burden of high advertising costs.
