The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN) has teamed up with the Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) to provide a 15% discount on logistics services for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across Nigeria.

This initiative, announced during a press conference at SMEDAN’s Abuja headquarters, aims to address the high cost of logistics that has been affecting SME sales and operational efficiency.

SMEDAN Director-General Charles Odii highlighted that the discount is a direct response to feedback from SMEs, which often reported that delivery costs sometimes exceed the value of their products, stifling sales and limiting growth opportunities.

NIPOST Postmaster General Tola Odeyemi confirmed that the discount, starting Monday, will be available to registered SMEs, and emphasized that this partnership supports inclusive economic growth by strengthening the role of MSMEs, which form the backbone of the Nigerian economy.
