The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) recently organized a town hall meeting to help business owners understand the impact of proposed tax reforms.
The event featured Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reform Committee, alongside various SME representatives and business groups.
Mr. Oyedele provided insights into the key policy changes, emphasizing benefits for small businesses and practical strategies for compliance. Discussions covered tax incentives, compliance challenges, and how the reforms would affect daily operations.

SMEDAN reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring SMEs are well-informed and actively involved in shaping policies that affect their businesses.

Taking to its official X handle, SMEDAN reiterated its dedication to keeping SMEs informed. “We remain committed to ensuring small businesses have a voice in policy discussions and access to the right information for growth,” the agency posted. Business owners were encouraged to stay engaged and take advantage of available resources.
