The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women and youth by establishing a dedicated Women and Youth Unit.

Highlighting its efforts, the agency announced its participation in the Crown Flour Angels Baking Academy initiative.
This program equips participants with baking and business management skills, offering certifications through the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB).

SMEDAN applauded Crown Flour Mills, a subsidiary of Olam Agri, for its investments in ensuring high-quality training and hands-on experience for participants.
The agency also expressed its intention to scale up similar empowerment initiatives in 2025, aiming to boost economic contributions from female-owned businesses and youth-led enterprises nationwide.
