The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has concluded a three-day capacity-building and grant programme for 100 female entrepreneurs in Minna, Niger State.
In a post shared on its official X handle, SMEDAN announced that the initiative supported by the Better Life Program for the African Rural Woman (BLPARW) and chaired by Aisha Ibrahim Babangida focused on equipping women with vital business and financial management skills.
The participating entrepreneurs received grants and training to help formalize and grow their enterprises sustainably.

According to SMEDAN, empowering rural women through such programmes is central to its mission of strengthening Nigeria’s small business ecosystem and promoting inclusive economic growth.
The agency also appreciated Aisha Ibrahim Babangida and the Better Life Program for their continued partnership and dedication to advancing women’s entrepreneurship.
