At the just-concluded National MSME Conference Award 2024 held in Abuja, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) granted ₦10 million to the top three winners of the #SMEDANPitchCompetition. The event highlighted the innovation and resilience of small businesses competing for the prestigious awards.

Loom Chocolate emerged as the grand prize winner, taking home ₦5 million. This business is committed to maximizing cocoa production and creating high-quality Nigerian chocolates, aiming to elevate the nation’s chocolate industry.

Negs Honey, dedicated to producing pure and organic honey while empowering women in local communities, secured the first runner-up position with a prize of ₦3 million.
Datestores, which offers healthier sweetener alternatives using dates instead of sugar, claimed the second runner-up spot, earning ₦2 million.

All other participants received financial incentives, ensuring that everyone’s creativity and hard work were recognized.
