In a joint effort to catalyze the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and the Bank of Industry (BOI) have partnered with the Innovation Centre for Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development (ICLED).

This collaboration aims to host the SMES Business Conference, a dynamic platform that delves into pertinent challenges facing the sector and presents actionable solutions to propel the micro, small, and medium enterprises in the Nigerian economy towards accelerated growth.

Under the theme “Renewing MSME in Nigeria: Navigating Disruptions and Embracing Change in the New Digital Era,” the business conference is scheduled for September 27th and 28th, 2023.

The event will commence with an opening address by Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Distinguished attendees include the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, as well as state commissioners for Commerce.

Olajumoke Familoni, Founder of ICLED, highlighted that the conference will also be attended by influential organizations, including the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), and the Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists. Additionally, participants will encompass representatives from Chambers of Commerce, supporting MSME agencies, and educators who play pivotal roles in shaping the MSME landscape.
