Rice farmers in [State Name] are recording impressive yield increases and reduced input wastage, thanks to agro-business interventions by the Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA), Nigeria.
Abdullahi Ibrahim, a rice farmer, revealed that his harvest jumped from just 2–3 bags to over 10 bags after adopting improved planting techniques such as nursery bed transplanting and Urea Deep Placement methods introduced by SAA to enhance productivity and sustainability.
Before the intervention, farmers resorted to broadcasting fertiliser and rice seeds, leading to high wastage and reduced profits. “Now we plant smarter and harvest better. Sasakawa has turned our farms into agribusiness ventures,” Ibrahim said.
