Governor Dikko Radda has completed the renovation of the Gidan Kuli groundnut oil mill in Kankia LGA, transforming the decades-old facility into a modern Groundnut Processing Centre. Over 500 direct and indirect jobs are expected to be created once operations begin.
Executed by the Katsina Youth Craft Village, the upgrade includes new machinery, administrative blocks, shops, and fencing. Radda described the project as a tribute to Katsina’s agricultural roots and a step toward economic diversification.
