National Youth Conference aimed at empowering Nigerian youths, addressing critical issues, and fostering unity among young people from diverse backgrounds.
This initiative represents a proactive step toward rebuilding the nation’s future by engaging its youth, a move that is both timely and commendable.
The conference’s key objectives include promoting national cohesion, addressing unemployment, improving education and healthcare, and developing policies for sustainable youth development. It also aims to help young Nigerians rediscover and harness their strengths and talents.
As the Chairman of the Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO), Kwara State chapter, I strongly believe the strength of any nation lies in its youth. This conference provides a meaningful platform for dialogue that could unlock the immense potential of Nigerian youths.

President Tinubu’s commitment to this youth-friendly initiative is praiseworthy, particularly as he has assured that the federal government will consider and implement the conference’s recommendations. This demonstrates his dedication to building a more inclusive, prosperous, and united Nigeria.
The conference marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s journey toward youth empowerment and national development. With President Tinubu’s leadership and active youth participation, the country is positioned for a brighter future.
Beyond the conference, the Tinubu administration is also implementing several youth-centric programs, such as the 3 Million Technical Talents Programme (3MTT) aimed at building Nigeria’s technical workforce; the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for affordable tertiary education loans; and the Renewed Hope Labour Employment and Empowerment Programme (LEEP), which targets the creation of 2.5 million jobs annually while ensuring workers’ welfare and safety.
The NYO Kwara State chapter commends Mr. President for this bold, timely, and responsive initiative. May God bless the initiator and the dynamic, enterprising, and creative youths of Nigeria, who make up over 60 percent of our nation’s population.
