At a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Special Adviser to the President on PEBEC & Investment, highlighted the rankings of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) for January to June 2024 based on their efficiency and customer service. The Nigerian Content Development Management Board (NCDMB) topped the list with an 80.1% score, followed by the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) at 78.2%, and the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) at 74.8%.
Dr. Oduwole noted a significant improvement, with 20 MDAs scoring above 50% in efficiency compliance, compared to only eight in the first half of 2023. Despite these gains, she emphasized the need for continued improvement to enhance Nigeria’s business environment and competitiveness.

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) and Nigeria Customs Services (NCS) ranked fourth and fifth, scoring 73.9% and 73.2%, respectively.
