Oyo State has opened Day 1 of the 2025 International Agribusiness Summit with a major step toward strengthening small agribusinesses through a new certification trademark, Grown in Oyo State.
The mark, unveiled before agripreneurs, innovators and development partners, is designed to improve product traceability, market credibility and export readiness for farmers and MSMEs across the state. Stakeholders noted that clear verification will help small producers access premium buyers, reduce rejection risks in larger markets, and build trust in locally grown goods.
