The Oyo State Government has engaged 24 private investors to emphasize the importance of securing legal land titles as part of its economic expansion efforts.
At a stakeholders’ session held at the State Secretariat in Ibadan, Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Williams Akin-Funmilayo, highlighted the benefits of proper land documentation.

He stated that acquiring legal land titles would not only ease project implementation but also ensure accurate land records for future use.
“We are ready to support genuine investors who contribute to our development goals through infrastructure and other projects,” Akin-Funmilayo said.
In response, Mr. Adesina Ojelade, speaking on behalf of the investors, lauded the state’s land regularization process and pledged their compliance with government guidelines to formalize land ownership.
