Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has revealed plans to launch the Osun Young Agropreneurs Incubation Programme, aimed at empowering young farmers and agropreneurs across the agricultural value chain.
The initiative stems from recommendations by the state’s food security committee. Governor Adeleke stated that the implementation committee, led by Special Adviser on Agriculture Mr. Olaniran Akanfe, has been tasked with executing the proposals outlined in the Food Security Committee report.
Under this programme, each of the 30 local government areas in the state will have at least 1,000 hectares of land available for young agropreneurs, with tractors provided for land clearing.
