Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has pledged his administration’s full support for the Federal Government’s livestock reform initiative aimed at enhancing food security nationwide.
The reforms, spearheaded by the Presidential Livestock Reforms Implementation Committee, were the focus of an advocacy visit to Adeleke’s office in Osogbo, led by the committee’s Co-Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega.
During the meeting, Adeleke reaffirmed Osun’s commitment to aligning with federal initiatives to advance agricultural productivity.
In a statement by Kolapo Alimi, Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Adeleke highlighted ongoing efforts, including the recent procurement of 31 tractors for state farmers and the distribution of seedlings and other incentives.
