It was a day of reflection, celebration, and renewed commitment as Oratib Insurance Consulting Limited commemorated its 15th anniversary in grand style.

The event, held at the company’s Lagos office, brought together management, staff, clients, and well-wishers to mark a significant milestone in the firm’s journey as one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous insurance consulting companies.

The highlight of the celebration was the symbolic cutting of the anniversary cake, a gesture that captured the spirit of gratitude and growth that has defined Oratib’s 15-year trajectory. The atmosphere was lively, with cheers, heartfelt speeches, photo moments, and renewed energy for the future.

Founded in 2010, Oratib has grown into a respected force in Nigeria’s insurance advisory landscape, delivering specialist consulting in general and life assurance, engineering projects, oil and gas risk, marine and aviation cover, and manpower development.

The firm has supported diverse sectors—including finance, logistics, construction, and government with reliable guidance on insurance audits, policy structuring, and regulatory compliance.

At the heart of this journey is Mr. John Anierobi, the Group Managing Consultant, whose leadership and vision have been instrumental in steering the company through the years.

“This 15-year milestone is more than a celebration—it is a call to deepen our impact,” Anierobi said. “We have built this brand on knowledge, ethics, and responsiveness, and we intend to expand on that legacy.

Mr. Anierobi, who has led the firm from inception, emphasized Oratib’s people-first philosophy and long-term thinking.

“We didn’t just build a consulting firm—we built a culture of excellence and reliability. From day one, we committed to technical accuracy, client education, and transparent advisory. That’s what our clients expect, and that’s what we will continue to deliver,” he added.

He also revealed that the company is entering a new strategic phase focused on deeper specialization, staff capacity building, and digital enablement to further support its clients in a rapidly evolving risk environment.

“The future of insurance consulting in Nigeria is changing, and we’re positioning Oratib to be at the forefront,” Anierobi said. “Whether it’s through smarter data usage, policy restructuring, or industry-focused solutions, we are ready for the next chapter.”
Also speaking at the event, Mr. Victor Akinnule, Acting Managing Consultant, underscored the company’s core values and the resilience of its team.

“Our foundation is built on truthfulness, speed, economics, and professionalism. These four pillars have sustained us through the years and guided every engagement,” he said.
Mr. David Uwechue, Deputy Consultant Technical, added that the company’s technical depth continues to differentiate it in the marketplace.

“Insurance is no longer transactional—it’s strategic. And at Oratib, we ensure our clients understand their exposures, options, and the best-fit solutions for long-term protection,” he noted.

The 15th anniversary celebration also featured employee recognition and a renewed commitment to mentorship and corporate social responsibility. In the coming months, the firm plans to launch industry-focused training programs and publish thought leadership materials to support insurance development in Nigeria.

With a strong foundation and clear direction, Oratib Insurance Consulting Limited is poised to continue leading the charge in ethical, professional, and impactful insurance advisory services across Nigeria and beyond.
