At the ongoing 2nd edition of the Moonshot Annual Tech Conference 2024, taking place at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, Dr. Aristotle Onumo, Director of Strategic Management and Partnerships at the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), delivered a detailed presentation on the agency’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan 2.0 (2024-2027).
Dr. Onumo provided an in-depth look at the eight strategic pillars outlined in the roadmap, emphasizing their significance in propelling Nigeria’s digital economy forward. He highlighted the transformative potential of these strategies in fostering innovation, enhancing digital infrastructure, and driving economic growth across the nation.

A key focus of his address was the recently launched Digital Literacy For All (DL4ALL) initiative, which aims to empower millions of Nigerians with essential skills in Information and Data Literacy, Content Creation, and Online Safety. With an ambitious target of achieving 70% digital literacy by 2027, this initiative aligns with the priorities set by President @officialABAT’s administration, which underscores Education, Health, and Social Investment as critical areas for national development.
Dr. Onumo urged all participants to actively engage with the DL4ALL program, reinforcing the importance of equipping the populace with the necessary skills to thrive in a digital world. The conference serves as a platform for dialogue and collaboration in advancing Nigeria’s digital landscape.
