The Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa, welcomed a delegation from the Africa Diaspora Corporation led by Mohammed Faisal, reinforcing Nigeria’s commitment to deepening digital skills and capacity nationwide. The visit introduced Vinsys, a global IT training and certification organisation with over 30 years of experience operating in 17 countries, which recently established a physical presence in Nigeria. Vinsys has already provided advanced training to key national institutions, demonstrating the potential of international collaboration in digital development.
During the engagement, DG Inuwa outlined the Federal Government’s digital literacy vision under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He highlighted the National Digital Literacy Framework developed by NITDA, which aligns with global standards such as UNESCO and DigComp. The framework aims to achieve 70% digital literacy by 2027, paving the way toward a national target of 95% by 2030.
