The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has launched the Digital Literacy for All (DL4ALL) National Awareness Campaign in Kano and Bauchi to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) leverage digital tools, expand ICT skills, and improve business operations.
The campaign, part of NITDA’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2.0), targets building digital skills, enhancing access to technology, fostering strategic partnerships, and strengthening trust in digital solutions—key factors for SME growth and competitiveness.
In Kano, the rally started at Zoo Road, passed through Tarauni Market, and ended at Farm Center GSM Market, while in Bauchi it moved from Pali Suite in New GRA to major commercial and cultural points including the Emir’s Palace, Wunti Market, and Central Market. Vendors and entrepreneurs were actively engaged, learning how mobile applications can streamline transactions, marketing, and operations.

The nationwide campaign aligns with Nigeria’s goal of achieving 70% digital literacy by 2027 under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, creating opportunities for SMEs to scale and compete locally and globally.
