NITDA, Katsina state govt empower MSMEs with digital marketing training

In a bid to drive forward the growth of 50 indigenous businesses within the state, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) collaborated to host a comprehensive capacity-building and empowerment program.

Over the course of three days, the initiative focused on equipping Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Katsina with the necessary skills to integrate digital technologies into their operations effectively. By embracing these advancements, MSMEs can streamline processes and achieve their objectives with greater efficiency.

During the opening ceremony in Katsina, Deputy Governor His Excellency Mallam Farouk Lawal Jobe commended the participants for their commitment to leveraging technology to unlock their companies’ full potential. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the knowledge gained from the training to navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape and drive business success.

Under the theme “Leveraging Digital Technology to Improve MSME’s Business,” the program, known as NITDA Digital Empowerment for MSMEs (NDE4M), aligns with the national agenda of economic reform for sustained inclusive growth. By nurturing an innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem, initiatives like NDE4M aim to empower MSMEs to thrive in the digital era and contribute to overall sectoral advancement.
