Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening food security and creating opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in agriculture during the opening of the Africa Food Systems Forum held yesterday in Dakar.
The forum, which gathered Heads of State, Ministers, policymakers, private sector leaders, and development partners, provided a platform to accelerate innovation and expand value-chain opportunities for agribusiness SMEs across the continent.

Officials stressed that under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Nigeria is focused on building resilient food systems that empower SMEs, generate jobs, and contribute to Africa’s shared prosperity.
