The Niger State Government has empowered 70 youths in modern agricultural practices through a comprehensive three-month training on soilless farming at Soilless Farm Lab, Abeokuta.
This initiative, led by Hauwa Bako Mohammed, Special Adviser on Social Investment Programs (SIP), marks a commitment to sustainable agriculture in the state.

Special Adviser on Digital Media and Strategy, Abdullberqy Usman Ebbo, announced the news, highlighting the provision of a 100x100ft plot, sacks of nutrient-rich soil, water resources, and initial funding to ensure a seamless transition from training to production.
This effort, benefitting 500 youths in the past year, aims to drive youth empowerment and reduce unemployment by fostering skilled farmers who can impact agriculture in Niger State.
