Niger Food has announced that its new partnership with Dangote Group and AfricaRice will generate over 500,000 jobs for Nigerians through large-scale rice production.
Chairman of Niger Food, Engr. Sammy Adigun, said the collaboration is designed to meet Nigeria’s rice demand with high-quality local products while cutting reliance on imports.
He explained that Niger Food alone targets over 10 million tonnes of rice annually on 500,000 hectares, a move expected to unlock massive opportunities for farmers, processors, traders, and SMEs across the rice value chain.
