The Federal Government has called on Nigerians to embrace patriotism in order to drive local infrastructure development.
This appeal was made by the Director of Information at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Mr. Olusegun Ayeoyenikan, during a press briefing at the ongoing 19th Abuja International Trade Fair, which runs from September 20 to October 1, 2024.
Ayeoyenikan, representing NASENI’s Executive Vice Chairman, stressed the need for citizens and stakeholders to support home-grown products and technologies to achieve national progress.
“We must agree that we want this country to develop,” he said. “Either we patronize local products, or the nation remains stagnant. It’s just logical.”
