The National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch the Fourth Industrial Revolution Technology in Agriculture Project (FIRTA).
This initiative, inspired by President Tinubu’s vision, seeks to leverage 4IR technologies to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.
Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, NITDA’s Director-General, stated that this collaboration will focus on identifying, demonstrating, and integrating market-ready innovations to revolutionize the agricultural sector.

The Executive Secretary/CEO of NADF highlighted the crucial relationship between agriculture and technology, asserting that evidence-based strategies are essential for significant advancements.
