On October 23, 2023, while speaking at the 29th Nigerian Economic Summit (NES) in Abuja, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stated that his government is not blind to the issues that many individuals face in the financial markets.

According to Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, President Bola Tinubu stated on his Facebook page, “My government is not blind to the challenges that several of you are facing in the financial markets.” I can relieve these fears by demonstrating that we have a clear path to the additional foreign exchange liquidity needed to restore market confidence.”
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu invited Nigeria’s leading private sector to bring their ideas, leadership, cash, and the collective resolve of huge conglomerates and commercial networks to help him construct a future of renewed hope.
