The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has launched its Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS), a major step toward boosting efficiency, transparency, and workflow automation across the ministry.
Deployed on the 1Government Cloud Platform, the ECMS introduces digital records management and streamlined internal processes aimed at improving service delivery to businesses, MSMEs, and investors.

The reform supports the Renewed Hope Agenda’s push for public sector digitisation, positioning the ministry to respond faster to enterprise needs, accelerate policy execution, and strengthen coordination with private-sector stakeholders.
Officials say the upgrade will reduce paperwork, enhance information access, and support a more predictable environment for trade and investment facilitation.
