In order to ensure that the four presidential goals of President Bola Tinubu’s current administration are met with due care, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has revealed that it is now examining all current projects in the nation’s agricultural sector.

The agriculture ministry emphasized that, in order to get the full support of agricultural stakeholders as collaborators in development, the evaluation of the sector was appropriate and required, resulting in the least amount of distortions possible. Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, recently revealed this information in Abuja.

According to Kyari, the ministry is currently conducting a thorough stakeholder analysis that will result in a functional stakeholder map outlining who is responsible for what, where, and how, as well as the areas that will benefit small and large-scale farmers, processors, marketers, and the organized private sector in tandem.

“We already benefited from briefings on on-going projects by our development partners,” the minister of agriculture stated. As a result, and moving ahead, achieving these four presidential priorities will be the primary focus of all Ministry programs and initiatives.

“In order to achieve this alignment with the fewest possible distortions, we are presently examining ongoing projects to guarantee due diligence. At the same time, we are maintaining confidence-building efforts to secure the full support of our stakeholders as partners in progress.
