The newly appointed Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment, John Owan Enoh, has committed to advancing Nigeria’s industrial growth.
Speaking on his first day in office, Enoh highlighted plans to provide strategic leadership and policy guidance to strengthen the industry’s impact on GDP and employment.

Enoh explained that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reassigned him to this vital sector to boost economic development. “Until we achieve significant industrial growth, we may never fully industrialize,” he remarked.
Ambassador Nura Abba Rimi praised the appointment, describing it as strategic, and called on ministry staff to unite in tackling funding, security, and infrastructure challenges under Enoh’s leadership.
