The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) and the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) have renewed their partnership to strengthen efforts to boost youth employment and entrepreneurship in Lagos State.
The renewed partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), extends the successful USADF-LSETF Employability Programme, which has trained over 10,500 young people since its inception in 2019.
The program, which has a particular focus on empowering women, has provided participants with a combination of training, financial aid, and mentorship.
According to the LSETF, the program has played a significant role in boosting the Lagos State economy by equipping young people with the skills they need to secure employment or launch their own businesses.

“This collaboration is a testament to our shared vision of empowering young people in Nigeria and creating a brighter future for the country,” he said.
