The Lagos State government has reinforced its commitment to supporting special homes and disability cluster groups by distributing ₦500,000 each to nine homes and six groups through the Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA). This initiative follows a previous support effort, which provided ₦100,000 to 100 individuals with disabilities just a month ago.
At the distribution event held at the Alausa Secretariat, LASODA General Manager, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, explained that the funding aims to empower caregivers and enhance the welfare of children and individuals with disabilities. She emphasized that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration is dedicated to ensuring that no one is left behind in the quest for a better quality of life.
