Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has urged the World Bank to consider Kwara as the location for its upcoming Sustainable Power and Irrigation for Nigeria (SPIN) project, aimed at boosting agricultural productivity.
Speaking at a Stakeholders Engagement meeting in Ilorin, represented by his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Razaq Jida, the governor highlighted that the project would significantly transform the state’s agricultural landscape.

He emphasized that the initiative would enhance food production, create jobs, and improve the overall quality of life for residents.
Jida assured stakeholders that Kwara has the capacity and readiness to meet all project requirements, making it an ideal choice for the World Bank’s investment in sustainable agro-business development.
